BOSTON, Mass. – Baseball senior catcher Kyle Desjardins (North Granby, Conn.) and softball junior outfielder Kaitlin Pettenger (Budd Lake, N.J.) received the Leopards of the Week awards for the week of Monday, March 7 – Sunday, March 13.
Desjardins played in six games for Wentworth last week, hitting .500 while collecting seven hits. He hit one home run, one triple, had seven RBI and scored seven runs while drawing six walks.
Pettenger played in every game for the Leopards, who got off to the best start in team history by posting a 7-1 record to start the year. She hit .444 with a .531 on-base percentage, recording 12 hits and 10 RBI, while picking up two triples, one double, and seven runs scored.
