Student-Athletes Recognized on CCC Academic All-Conference Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has announced the Fall Academic All-Conference Team, and it includes student-athletes from the conference's 10-member institutions. The Academic All-Conference honor rewards varsity student-athletes who attain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher. The Fall Academic All-Conference Team encompasses student-athletes who participated in the sports of men's and women's cross country, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and volleyball.

Of the honorees, 23 were first team, 12 second team, and nine honorable mention All-CCC selections in their sport. Also noteworthy is that the Athlete(s) of the Year in four of the seven CCC fall sports received Academic All-Conference laurels.

Wentworth placed 22 student-athletes – eight more than last year – on the academic all-conference team with the 22 student-athletes spread across all five of the Leopards’ fall sports, including senior libero Sam Curran of the women’s volleyball team who was named the program’s first Academic All-America® last month.
