The Leopard Club

Dear Friend of Wentworth Athletics,

This is an exciting time for the Wentworth Athletic Department.  During the last 25 years six of our 15 teams have won 18 conference championships, have had the men’s basketball and hockey teams combine for eight trips to the NCAA Division III Tournament, and have made 25 trips to the ECAC Tournament, with the 2009 men’s soccer team winning the school’s first ECAC Tournament Championship and the 2014 men's volleyball team rallying to win the ECAC Division III Championship.  Former men's basketball player Ludger Bain '98 and former ice hockey players Raj Bhangoo '04 and Shaun Jameson '13 earned All-America honors, while five student-athletes have earned eight Academic All-America awards.

Many of you are former student-athletes and you know firsthand how challenging it can be to balance your time between a very demanding academic curriculum – including working in the field during your coop semesters – and intercollegiate athletics.  Today’s student-athlete faces these same challenges and as Wentworth’s reputation continues to grow, these challenges become greater.

Each year, more than 300 students participate on our 16 varsity teams.  In order to further enhance the athletic experience of these fine students, we have formed The Leopard Club, a way for our parents, alumni, and friends to help financially support our teams and help enhance the student-athlete experience.  With your generous donation, y
ou are helping to enhance the experience of Wentworth’s student-athletes by providing necessary funding above and beyond each sport’s annual budget.  This funding can help pay for such things as additional equipment, new uniforms, and team trips, to name a few.
