Baseball Holds Annual Alumni Golf Tournament

BOSTON, Mass. – On Saturday, October 6, the Wentworth Institute of Technology baseball team held its annual alumni golf tournament at Southers Marsh Golf Club in Plymouth, Mass. The 15th annual event featured over 100 golfers, including 36 alumni who played for the Leopards. The 36 alumni who played are the most who have played in the event to date.

"This was the 15th annual Wentworth Baseball Alumni Golf Tournament and it was the best yet," said head coach Steve Studley. "It is so great to see so many of our former players coming back and hanging out with each other again. It is also great for me to introduce alumni to each other. Fifteen years have gone by very quickly and because of that I lose track of who played with who."

Money raised from this even will go towards the team's annual spring break trip to Central Florida, which will take place March 2-9, 2019.

"I'd like to say thank you to everyone that participated in this year's event," said Studley. "I'm already looking forward to next year. Based on the calls, text and emails I think this is going to continue to grow!"
