NEW BEDFORD, Mass. – Junior Brandon Goold (Foxboro, Mass.) shot a two-day total of 169 (88-81) to finish in a tie for 38th place and help the Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team finish 15th at the 2014 Hampton Inn Invitational.

The two-day event was played at the par 72, 6,764-yard Allendale Country Club and saw the Leopards, who shot a 364 after the first day, card a 336 in the second round to finish two strokes ahead of Worcester State and four behind Tufts.

Junior Pat Sullivan (Needham, Mass.) finished tied for 56th as he shot a 174 (88-86), graduate student Kyle Nadeau (Chicopee, Mass.) finished in a tie for 61st after shooting a 177 (95-82), and sophomore John Doran (Weymouth, Mass.) finished tied for 68th after he carded a 181 (93-88). Sophomore Nick Ottomaniello (Wilbraham, Mass.) shot a 199 to finish tied for 81st.

Wentworth concludes the 2013-14 campaign on Tuesday at the Rich Korzec Memorial Invitational, hosted by Worcester State.
