NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Junior Zach Sousa (Middleboro, Mass.) shot a two-day total of 164 to finish tied for 26th place as the Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team finished 15th at the Hampton Inn Collegiate Invitational held on Friday and Saturday at the Par 72 Allendale Country Club.

Sousa's 164 (77-87) helped the Leopards finish 15th out of 18 schools as the Black & Gold carded 686 for the tournament. Wentworth shot a 344 on Friday and a 342 on Saturday. Husson University captured the team title with a 642, which was followed by Salem State and Endicott which each tied for second with a 645.

Freshman Zach Downing (Clinton, Mass.) finished tied for tied for 40th with a 168 (87-81), freshman Greg Carroll (East Bridgewater, Mass.) finished tied for tied for 47th with a 170 (87-83), and sophomore Paul Arsenault (Middleton, Mass.) finished tied for 81st with a 184 (93-91). Sophomore Austin Enroth (Dartmouth, Mass.) also competed for the Leopards, finishing with a 186 (93-93).

Wentworth concludes it season on Tuesday at the Rich Korzec Invitational at the Blackstone National Golf Club.
