BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomore Dan Howard (Westwood, Mass.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team has earned Commonwealth Coast Conference Golfer of the Week honors. Howard earns this honor for matches played from Sept. 26-Oct. 2.
Howard tied for seventh at the 69-player Westfield State Invitational as he shot a four-over par 75. His score was just three strokes behind the tournament's top finisher.
In three events this season, Howard has an average of 74.67 as he had carded a 74 and a pair of 75s. In all three events he has finished among the top 10, including earning medalist honors at the Mitchell Invitational on Sept. 7 when he shot a 74.
Wentworth will compete at the CCC Championship Qualifier on Tuesday in Hingham, Mass.
