BOSTON, Mass. – For the second week in a row, sophomore Dan Howard (Westwood, Mass.), of the Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team had been honored as the Commonwealth Coast Conference golfer of the week. Howard earns the honor for matches played from Oct. 4-10.
At the CCC Qualifier, Howard was the lone golfer to break par as he shot a one-under 71 to earn medalist honors. His 71 – a career-low – bested the second-place finisher by four strokes. In four rounds this season he has a stroke average of 73.75.
Wentworth hosts Eastern Nazarene in a match play event on Wednesday, Oct. 12.
