BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Cory Lillie (East Hampton, N.Y.) netted a pair of goals and an assist for three points, while fellow freshman Chris Azzano (Oshawa, Ont.) stopped all 22 shots he faced to record the shutout in goal to lead Wentworth to a 5-0 ECAC Northeast ice hockey victory over Suffolk Sunday afternoon at Walter Brown Arena.

Lillie gave the visiting Leopards (4-3-2, 3-1-1 ECAC Northeast) the only goal they would need 4:35 into the contest when he converted feeds from junior Mike Paglino (Grosse Pointe Shores, Mich.) and sophomore Dylan Barbieri (Plainville, Mass.), and that trio clicked again 4:30 into the second stanza for a 2-0 Wentworth advantage after 40 minutes of action.  Sophomore Anthony Principato (Holmdel, N.J.) and freshman Andrew Yarber (Livonia, Mich.) provided a pair of insurance markers that came just 40 seconds apart for the Leopards early in the final period of play, and junior Skylur Jameson (Long Beach, Calif.) iced the visitors' triumph with a power play goal that came with 1:58 remaining to close out the scoring.

Paglino and Barbieri each finished with three assists in the win for Wentworth, which also recieved a helper from freshman Chris Marinakos (Orillia, Ont.) on Jameson's power play goal.  Azzano recorded 17 of his 22 saves over the final two periods of play for the Leopards, with eight of his nine third period stops coming on penalty kill situations.

Senior Jeff Rose (Collinsville, Conn.) made 27 stops in net in the setback for the host Rams (4-7, 1-2 ECAC Northeast), as Wentworth outshot Suffolk by a 32-22 margin for the contest.  The Leopards also killed off all six shorthanded situations, running their streak to 29 consecutive shorthanded situations successfully killed off.

Suffolk will be idle until Tuesday, January 11, 2011 when the Rams host Babson in a non-league outing at Walter Brown Arena beginning at 7:00 p.m., while Wentworth hosts Stonehill in a non-league match-up on Thursday evening at Matthews Arena in Boston beginning at 7:00 p.m.
