CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the 2013-2014 ECAC Northeast Hockey All-Academic Team. A total of 96 student-athletes, representing all eight participating league institutions were honored. Nichols College placed 19 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team, the most honorees from any single institution.
Wentworth Institute of Technology placed 13 student-athletes on the team, which advanced to its fourth straight ECAC Northeast title game.
To be eligible for the ECAC Northeast Hockey All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have completed at least one full academic year at his current institution and possess a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
