Domsodi Named Honorable Mention All-ECAC Northeast

DANBURY, Connecticut – The 2015 ECAC Northeast major award winners and all-conference teams were released on Thursday (February 26) and senior forward Mike Domsodi (Kirkland, Que.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology ice hockey team has been named to the all-conference team as an honorable mention selection.

Domsodi's selection marks the third time in his career he has been honored by the league as he was named to both the ECAC Northeast Second and All-Rookie Teams in 2012.

In 25 games for the Black & Gold, Domsodi is the team's leading scorer with eight goals and 13 assists for 21 points. Two of his goals have come on the power play and he has four game-winning markers this season. Additionally, he matched a career high with three assists in a 5-5 tie against Suffolk on February 21.

Having played in 108 games over the course of his career, Domsodi has 36 goals and 54 assists for 90 points with 15 of his goals coming on the power play and also recording eight game-winning goals. He ranks fifth on the program's all-time list for game-winning goals, ninth for power-play goals, is tied for ninth in games played, and is 14th in both points and goals, while being tied for 17th in career assists.

With an 11-11-3 record (6-6-2 ECAC Northeast), Wentworth is at Curry on Saturday for a first round game of the 2015 ECAC Northeast Tournament.
