DEMOREST, Ga. – Junior Kevin Butler (Jefferson, Mass.) scored three goals and assisted on a fourth to help pace the Wentworth Institute of technology men's lacrosse team to a 13-10 victory over Wabash in a non-conference game played at Piedmont College.
With the win the Leopards improve to 2-0 on the season while the Little Giants fall to 2-2.

Sophomore Jason Buck (Manlius, N.Y.) and senior Mike Coakley (Flemington, N.J.) scored to put the Leopards ahead 3-2 and started a 7-1 run which would give the Black & Gold an 8-3 lead with 12:50 left in the half. Senior Sean Farmer (Billerica, Mass.) had two goals during the run.
Wabash scored two of the next three goals to cut the lead to 9-5, however sophomore Zach Tomaszek (Milford, Conn.) countered with a goal with 15 seconds left in the half to make it 10-5 in favor of Wentworth at the break.
