Men's Rowing Competes Against Tufts

MEDFORD, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's rowing team raced a pair of boats against Tufts University on Saturday with the Jumbos earning victories in both races.

Wentworth's varsity four boat of sophomore coxswain Lizzy Astle (Westminster, Mass.), sophomore Ben Peterson (Glastonbury, Conn.), senior Mike Drolette (Windham, Mass.), sophomore Fabian Torres (Danvers, Mass.) and sophomore Tucker Barrett (Harvard, Mass.) finished with a time of 7:30.7, which finished behind Tufts' time of 7:05.3

The Leopards' second varsity four boat of sophomore coxswain Siobhan Galloway (Granby, Mass.), freshman Dan Bailey (Franklin, Mass.), freshman Matt Pusateri (West Boylston, Mass.), sophomore Donte Cook (Plymouth, Mass.), and freshman Frank McCarthy (South Hamilton, Mass.) finished with a time of 7:27.0, which was second to the Jumbos' 8:51.0.

Wentworth will compete in the New England Championships on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester next Saturday.
