BOSTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology rowing team had a pair of entries into the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta this past weekend as the Leopards competed in their second to last regatta of the fall season.
On Saturday, Wentworth raced in the Men's Club Fours race. Freshman coxswain Emily Seslar (Plymouth, Mass.), sophomore Karlis Kaza (Nahant, Mass.), and juniors Alec Boyle (Shirley, Mass.), Logan O'Donnell (Killingworth, Conn.), and Matt West (Hingham, Mass.) placed 17th among the 48-boat field as the Leopards finished with a time of 18:15.746.
Sunday afternoon saw the Leopards compete in the Men's Collegiate Fours race. Freshman coxswain Sara Anderson (Manchester, N.H.), and freshmen Tyler Brinson (Lowell, Mass.), Dylan Ryan (Belmont, Mass.), Sepehr Khansalar (Cambridge, Mass.), and Bohdan Ruehle (Kinnelon, N.J.) finished 36th among the 43-boat field, crossing the line in a time of 19:51.140 .
Wentworth wraps up fall season competition on Saturday at the Head of the Fish Regatta in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
