BOSTON, Mass. – Competing in its penultimate regatta of the 2018 fall portion of its schedule, the Wentworth Institute of Technology rowing team competed at the prestigious Head of the Charles regatta, which took place in the Leopards' backyard on the Charles River.

Wentworth raced a pair of boats in the regatta – one on each day – with the Men's Club Four boat racing on Saturday and the Men's Collegiate Four boat taking to the water on Sunday.

Saturday saw the Leopards place an impressive 10th out of 55 boats in the Men's Club Four race as the Leopards finished with a time of 17:48.734. Wentworth competed against numerous Division I and Division III institutions and rowing clubs from across the country. The boat was the second Division III boat to finish with Union's eighth-place finish (17:30.458) leading the way.

The Men's Collegiate Four race saw the Leopards place 27th out of 40 boats as the Black & Gold crossed the line with a time of 20:46.298. This race featured numerous Division I and Division III schools from the United States and Canada and the 27th place was seventh among 13 Division III boats entered in the race.

Wentworth will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule next Saturday when the Leopards compete at the Lowell Halloween Regatta.
