SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Freshman midfielder James Morrison (New South Wales Australia) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week for games played the week of September 7-13.
In a 2-0 week for the Leopards, Morrison scored the game-tying goal late in the first half in a 2-1 win over Roger Williams. The win enabled Wentworth to improve to 5-0 for the first time in program history.
Morrison has played in all five games for the Leopards and has a goal and an assist for three points. Wentworth looks to extend its win streak to six tonight when the Leopards are at Emmanuel.
