SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – For the second time this season, freshman James Morrison (New South Wales, Australia) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's soccer team has been honored by the Commonwealth Coast Conference as its rookie of the week. The honor comes for games played the week of Oct. 12-18.

In Wentworth's lone game of the week, Morrison scored a goal and assisted on another in a 3-0 win over the University of New England. He notched an assist in the 43rd minute to give the Leopards a 2-0 lead and his goal in the 62nd minute rounded out the scoring.

Morrison has started all 13 games he has played in and has three goals and two assists for eight points. Winners of five straight, Wentworth presently sits at 11-3 overall and 4-2 in CCC play. The Leopards, who are in double figures for wins for the first time since 2009, are at league-leading Endicott on Wednesday afternoon.
