Martins Named CCC Offensive Player of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – Junior Noah Martins (Dartmouth, Mass.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's soccer team has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Martins earns the honor for games played from October 9-15.

In a 1-0-1 week for the Leopards, Martins recorded a hat trick as Wentworth defeated Western New England, 4-2. His third goal of the game, which came with 24:23 remaining, held up as the game-winning goal.

Playing 13 of the team's 15 games this season Martins has four goals and five assists for 15 points. He has also tallied 73 points (28 goals, 17 assists) in 55 career games.

Wentworth is 7-6-2 overall and 3-1-2 in CCC play. The Leopards are unbeaten in their last five games (3-0-2) and travel to Endicott on Wednesday night.
