Moschetto Steps Down as Men's Tennis Coach

BOSTON, Mass. – Tony Moschetto, who has served as Wentworth Institute of Technology's Head Men's Tennis Coach for the past three seasons has announced his resignation, effective immediately.

"I'd like to thank Wentworth for the opportunities for professional and personal development over the past three years," said Moschetto. "I have truly enjoyed serving in the role of head men's tennis coach and am appreciative of the support provided to me during my tenure."

This past season Moschetto led the Leopards to a 5-8 record, which were the most wins since 2013. Wentworth narrowly missed qualifying for the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament as the Black & Gold finished in seventh place by one match. Wentworth ended its season on a high note with a 7-2 win at Salve Regina on Apr. 27.

Moschetto guided the Leopards to a CCC Tournament berth in his first season and, over the course of his tenure, he had a student-athlete named All-CCC each season.

"I would like to thank Tony for his commitment and hard work with our men's tennis program the last three seasons," said Associate Director of Athletics Danielle Ferrara. "I am confident he will continue to accomplish great achievements in the future."

A search for Moschetto's replacement will begin immediately.
