Men's Tennis Concludes Fall Segment

WESTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team wrapped up its fall campaign Friday afternoon with a 9-0 loss to Regis.

No. 1 doubles saw Regis senior Luke Horton (Bass Harbor, Maine) team with freshman Sebastian Torres (San Juan, Puerto Rico) to take an 8-0 win over Leopard sophomores Tyler Hall (Framingham, Mass.) and Tristan Maus (Mansfield, Mass.). The Pride took a 2-0 lead with an 8-3 win at No. 2 as junior Nolan Bebarta (Danville, Calif.) and sophomore Johnny Pallotta (Bay Shore, N.Y.) defeated sophomore Harrison Maki (Rutland, Mass.) and junior Alex Mularski (Auburn, Mass.). The hosts completed the sweep as senior Cam Charbonneau (Guilford, Conn.) and junior Kyle Dugat (Houston, Texas) bested Leopard sophomore Jarrett North (Roanoke, Texas) and junior Mun Chet (Braintree, Mass.), 8-4.

Bebarta gave Regis a 4-0 lead with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Mularski at No. 3 singles before Charbonneau clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Maki at No. 5. No. 4 saw Pallotta defeat Maus, 6-1, 6-1, Horton bested North, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 2, sophomore Owen Pelissier (Hingham, Mass.) picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 over sophomore Rahul Bahl (Brookline, Mass.), and Torres was a 6-3, 6-3 winner over Hall at No. 1.

Wentworth ends the fall portion of its schedule with an 0-2 record.
