WESTON, Mass. – Senior Jake Reed (Arvada, Colo.) recorded 11 kills, served four aces, and had a pair of blocks to help the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team earn a 3-0 win over Regis in non-conference action on Tuesday night.

In the opening set Wentworth took a 14-10 lead on a junior Jon Roat (Macedon, N.Y.) kill and had a four-point lead seven more times, including after an attack error made it 22-18. Regis closed the gap to 23-21, and, after a service error gave the Leopards set point at 24-21, the Pride scored three straight to tie the set at 24-all. Wentworth scored the first seven points of the third set and never looked back, cruising to a 25-17 win. A kill from Roat gave the Leopards their largest lead of the set at 18-7 before four straight Regis points made it 18-11. Wentworth scored five of the next six points to take a 23-12 lead.
