In the waning plays leading up to the triumph, sophomores Drew Potter (Towson, Md.) and Drew Hesse (Eden, N.Y.) spoiled the lead for the Gulls with back-to-back kills, while Hesse gave Wentworth the final match-point off a pass from Connor Adams (Budd Lake, N.J.).
  • Both teams battled point-for-point in the fourth until Endicott's Gabe Felicetti put down a roaring kill that broke a 24-24 tie. Felicetti and Bryn Lipton denied the Leopards' final attack and sealed the set and the match.
