BOSTON, Mass. – Junior Dan McSolla (Bridgewater, Mass.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology cross country team has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Runner of the Week. McSolla earns this honor for races run from Oct. 10-16.
McSolla helped the Leopards finish second at the Emmanuel College Saints Invitational as he finished third individually among 192 runners with a time of 26:06, which was 14 seconds behind the first runner to cross the line.
In five races this season the two-time all-conference performer has finished no lower than third.
Wentworth looks to defend its Commonwealth Coast Conference crown on Oct. 29 when the Leopards race at the CCC Championship at Western New England University.
