Wilks Named CCC Player of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – After a huge four-game weekend, senior Aurora Wilks (Fruitport, Mich.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Week. Wilks earns the honor for games played from April 3-10.

In a 4-0 week for the Leopards, Wilks batted .769, had an on-base percentage of .733, and a slugging percentage of 1.462. She had at least two hits in all four games and hit three home runs, while driving in eight runs. In a doubleheader sweep of Gordon, she went 5-for-8 with a home run and five RBI and followed that up by going 5-for-7 with two home runs, four runs scored, and three RBI.

For the season, she has started 16 of the 19 games in which she has played and is batting .385 (20-for-52) two doubles, five home runs, 11 runs scored, and 21 RBI. Her slugging percentage is .712.

Wentworth is 16-8 overall and 6-2 in CCC play and steps out of league play tomorrow for a doubleheader against Fisher.
