BOSTON, Mass. – Junior Rachael Camara (Fall River, Mass.) recorded a double-double as she scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's basketball team take a 60-49 victory over Keuka in the third place game at the Emerson College Tip-Off Tournament.

Camara, who was named to the all-tournament team for the second consecutive season, averaged 17 points, 8.5 rebounds and two assists in the two games as the Leopards improve to 1-1 on the season. The Wolfpack fall to 0-2 with the loss in the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

Wentworth led from start to finish, scoring the game's first 11 points and holding a 17-3 lead with 8:34 left in the opening stanza. Camara and sophomore Kellie Messer (Hollis, N.H.) each had six points during the first 11:26 while junior Megan McLaughlin (Southington, Conn.) added four of her own.

The Leopards would lead by as many as 16 in the half and took a 27-15 lead into the locker room after holding Keuka to just 6.3 percent (2-for-32) from the floor and scoring 11 points off 14 turnovers.

Wentworth increased its lead to as many as 19 with 14:28 left on a freshman Riselly Deoleo (Manchester, N.H.) basket. The lead remained in double digits until the Wolfpack used a 7-2 spurt to turn a 14-point deficit to nine with 1:58 to play. However, on the next possession Messer was fouled after she got the rebound of a McLaughlin miss to make it an 11-point game and Camara hit four free throws down the stretch to help seal the win.

Camara was 13-for-19 from the free throw line and also dished out a pair of assists. Deoleo finished with 11 points (on 4-for-6 shooting), six rebounds, three assists, and five steals. McLaughlin and classmate Carly Rogers (Scarborough, Maine) had nine points apiece with McLaughlin also dishing out five assists and recording a pair of steals. Messer and freshman Haley Sabino (Topsfield, Mass.) had eight points each.

Brittany Hadley (14 points, seven rebounds) and Katie Stuart (13 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, two blocks) led the Wolfpack. The Leopards held Keuka to 22.7 percent from the floor for the contest.
