WENHAM, Mass. – Despite a low-scoring first half of play, six student-athletes dropped double-figures as the Gordon College Fighting Scots' women's basketball team pulled away from the Wentworth Institute of Technology with a series of late runs to take a 72-49 contest in conference action Saturday afternoon.

- Gordon again responded with a 9-2 run, extending their advantage to 21-9, before a trifecta by Gabby Amoddio marked a 21-12 game. Foster would drain four straight points of her own to help cut the deficit to 21-16 before another two from the Scots marked a 23-16 game after the first quarter.
- In a low-scoring second quarter, Wentworth scored three straight to slice the deficit to just four at 23-19. A layup by Brynn Barnhard pushed Gordon's lead to 25-19 before two free throws for the Leopards marked a 25-21 score. A Garabedian layup dwindled the deficit to just two at 25-23 before a three by Rivera before quarter's end gave the Scots a 28-23 lead.
- The Scots started the third quarter with a 9-0 run, started with a make by Barnhard, to extend their lead to 37-23 before a layup by Foster helped mark a 37-26 game. Free throw makes later helped cut the deficit to 39-31 before another layup by Foster with three seconds left in the frame marked a 41-33 game.
- After Wentworth cut the lead to 41-35 early in the fourth, Gordon went on an 8-0 run, featuring five points from Sophie Peters, to take a 49-35 lead before a Foster layup marked a 49-37 score.
