SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference announced its 2017 women's lacrosse all-conference teams and major award winners Friday afternoon. All nine CCC schools were represented on this year's All-Conference list. Endicott and Roger Williams each had eight selections to lead the pack.

The Hawks and Gulls also reeled in the major awards. Roger Williams junior Kaelin Hogan (Bethel, Conn.) was recognized as CCC Offensive Player of the Year, while Endicott goalkeeper Bella Rino (Northborough, Mass.) took home Defensive Player of the Year honors. Rino's teammate, freshman Jennifer Lacroix (Wrentham, Mass.), was named Rookie of the Year and University of New England senior Jocelyn Davee (Freeport, Maine) was voted the Senior Scholar-Athlete. After leading the Gulls to an undefeated conference season, Endicott head coach Morgan Maciewicz was selected by her peers as the Coach of the Year. Wentworth earned the Team Sportsmanship award.

Voting for the All-CCC teams and each of the major awards was conducted by the conference's nine women's lacrosse head coaches following the conclusion of the regular season.

Hogan, Rino, and Lacroix were all selected as part of the 12-member All-CCC First Team. Joining Lacroix at attack were Endicott's Meghan Lennon (Canton, Mass.), Roger Williams's McKenna Everding (Fayetteville, N.Y.), and Western New England's Rachel Canning (Lincoln Park, N.J.). Hogan was one of three midfielders selected to the First Team as she was joined by her teammate Emily Stoeppel (Brookfield, Conn.) and Endicott's Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.). The four women selected as First Team defenders were Malorie Knowlton (Norfolk, Mass.) from Curry, Chelsea Burke (Georgetown, Mass.) from Endicott, Caitlin Shanahan (Forest Hill, Md.) from Roger Williams, and Jolena Lampron (Lyman, Maine) from UNE. Rino was the First Team goalkeeper.

Thirteen student-athletes were named All-CCC Second Team honorees. At the attack position were Gordon's Olivia McCarrick (Glen Burnie, Md.), Nichols's Brooke Marion (South Hadley, Mass.), Kaitlin Gillespie (Haddam, Conn.) from Salve Regina, and the Nor'easters' Brooke Kelleher (Exeter, N.H.). UNE's Davee was one of four Second Team midfielders selected. Joining this year's Senior Scholar-Athlete were her teammate Korinne Bohunsky (Eliot, Maine) and the Endicott pair of Ali Campbell (Lakeville, Mass.) and Olivia Larson (Cheshire, Conn.). The Hawks' Elizabeth Cahn (Baltimore, Md.), the Gulls' Talia Dellatto (Andover, Mass.), and the Seahawks' Jacqueline Pilatti (South Windsor, Conn.) were the Second Team defenders, while Roger Williams's Kimberly Bolk (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) and Western New England's Shannon McFadden (West Islip, N.Y.) were both chosen as goalkeepers.

The 14-member third team consisted of four attackers, five midfielders, four defenders and a goalkeeper. At attack were Curry's Kelly Parker (Branford, Conn.), Roger Williams's Marin Owens (Brookline, N.H.), Salve Regina's Maddie Villareal (Portsmouth, R.I.), and UNE's Nichole Carvalho (South Kingstown, R.I.). In the midfield were Abby Dubel (Wolfeboro, N.H.) from Curry, MC Aston (Greenwich, N.Y.) from Gordon, Katie Kline (Brookfield, Conn.) from Salve Regina, Brooke Paradis (Pelham, N.H.) from Wentworth, and Emma Norden (Belchertown, Mass.) from Western New England. The All-CCC Third Team defenders include the Fighting Scots' Lindsey Congdon (Exeter, N.H.), the Hawks' Alayna Fogg (Norwood, Mass.), and the Nor'easters' Olivia Carpenter (Middlebury, Vt.) and Kyra Taylor (Meriden, N.H.). Bridget Newbury (Bridgewater, Mass.) from Salve Regina was the Third Team goalkeeper.

Paradis becomes the first Wentworth women's lacrosse player to earn All-Commonwealth Coast Conference honors in the five-year history of the program. In 16 games she had a program-record 47 goals to go along with six assists for 53 points. Her 47 goals broke her own record of 44 set during her freshman season while her 53 points were one shy of the single-season points record she set as a freshman. She also won 62 draw controls which established a program record for draw controls won in a single season.

In a 17-16 win over Mass. College on March 13, Paradis established a program single-game records for goals (seven) while her nine points and 12 draw controls won that evening were the second most recorded in a game by a Leopard.

Playing in 32 of a possible 32 games over her first two seasons, Paradis has scored 107 points on 91 goals and 16 assists. She is first on Wentworth's all-time list with 91 goals while her 107 points rank her second. She is also second all-time in draw controls won (115), third in assists (16), and fifth in ground balls (82).
