BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Caitlin McCormick (Hanson, Mass.) has been named as Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week as announced on Monday afternoon.
McCormick wins her first weekly award from the CCC with two solid defensive performances as the Leopards went 1-1 in conference play. In total, McCormick recorded nine ground balls and caused four turnovers. She started the week with four ground balls and one caused turnover in a 16-11 setback against Curry before collecting five ground balls with three caused turnovers in a win over Nichols. McCormick also had three draw controls during the week.
