Hannah Pelletier enters her third season at the helm of the Wentworth women's lacrosse program after serving as an assistant coach for four seasons.
While the 2020 campaign was cut short due to COVID-19, Wentworth played four games, including competing against a team which had qualified for the NCAA Division III Tournament the previous season.
In Pelletier’s first campaign (2019), the Leopards had a breakthrough season, setting the program record for wins (nine), tying the program’s record for conference wins, earning the program’s first-ever Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament berth, and had a student-athlete become the first player in program history to win a major award when Sarah Galan ’22 was the CCC Rookie of the Year. Statistically speaking, the Black & Gold set 10 program records.
Prior to her arrival at Wentworth, Pelletier worked alongside the Penmen of Southern New Hampshire University as assistant women's lacrosse coach for three seasons. Pelletier also coached a one-year stint at Bentley University.
In addition to her diverse coaching background, Pelletier brings an abundance of playing experience as a former three-year letter winner at Endicott College. Defending the Gulls to three CCC championship titles, Pelletier currently ranks 10thall-time in ground balls (135) and 5thin ground balls per game (2.29). In her three years at Endicott, Pelletier totaled 12 goals, 10 assists, 22 points, and 49 caused turnovers. Pelletier also appeared in 14 games for the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils during her freshman season and scooped 18 ground balls.
A Kennebunk, Maine native, Pelletier earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Communication from Endicott in 2010, and currently resides in Somerville, Mass.
