Moore Named NEWISA All-New England

BOSTON, Mass. – Coming off a record-breaking season, junior forward Olivia Moore (Salem, Conn.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's soccer team has been selected to the 2013 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association's All-New England Team as a second team selection.

Moore, a First Team All-Commonwealth Coast Conference selection, played in 19 of the Leopards' 20 contests and holds the program's single-season scoring record with 42 points (17 goals, eight assists), breaking the old mark of 38 which was set by Kristen Kudlic in 2008. After not scoring in the team's first three games, she recorded five multiple-goal games and had five or more points in a game on three occasions. In the Black & Gold's 2-1, double-overtime win over the University of New England in the CCC Quarterfinals, she assisted on the team's first goal and netted the game-winning goal with 4:38 remaining.

Additionally, her 17 goals this season are the second most in a season in program history, and, in 56 career games she has 28 goals and 12 assists for 68 points, which ranks her third on the program's all-time scoring list.

Wentworth finished the 2013 season with a 7-9-4 record, advancing to the semifinals of the CCC Tournament. The Leopards were defeated, 1-0 in overtime by eventual conference champion Endicott.
