SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore forward Amanda Weinberger (Colchester, Conn.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's soccer team has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week for games played the week of October 13-19.

In a 2-0 week for the Leopards, Weinberger, who was honored for the second time this season, scored a pair of goals and assisted on another for a five-point week. She had a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win over Framingham State, which snapped a six-game (0-4-2) winless streak for Wentworth and tallied the game's only goal in a 1-0 win over Western New England.

Weinberger has started 12 of the 14 games in which she has played and leads the team in scoring with 18 points (seven goals, four assists). The Leopards sit at 7-6-2 overall (2-3-1 CCC) and are at Roger Williams on Wednesday afternoon.
