SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – After posting a 2-0 week, including an upset over defending Commonwealth Coast Conference Champion Endicott, two members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology earned weekly honors from the CCC. Senior Olivia Moore (Salem, Conn.) was named the league's offensive player of the week while freshman Emily Richard (Fremont, N.H.) earned CCC Rookie of the Week honors.

Moore picks up offensive rookie of the week honors after posting a four-goal week for the Leopards. In a 4-0 win over Nichols in the regular-season finale, she scored a goal and followed that up with a hat trick in a 4-2 upset win over Endicott in the CCC Quarterfinals. Moore scored in the ninth minute to give Wentworth a 1-0 lead, gave the Leopards the lead for good in the 54th minute, and added an insurance marker in the 17th minute of action.

Starting 13 of the 15 games in which she has played this season, Moore has seven goals and three assists for 17 points, which ranks her third on the team. For her career, she is Wentworth's second all-time leading scorer with 85 points (35 goals, 15 assists).

Richard helped the Leopards pick up a pair of victories with a solid, two-way performance at midfield. In addition to helping to create several offensive chances in both games, she was part of a stingy defense that allowed Nichols just four shots on goal and held the Gulls to nine shots on goal in the Leopards' first-ever win at Endicott.

Starting 17 of the 19 games in which she has appeared in this season, Richard has a goal and five assists for seven points. He five assists tie for the team lead.

Wentworth, which entered the CCC Tournament as the number seven seed, sits at 9-8-2 and is at third-seeded Eastern Nazarene for a semifinal contest on Tuesday afternoon.
