DANBURY, Conn. – A day after she was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week, freshman goalkeeper Micaela Robinson (Goshen, N.Y.) has been named the ECAC Division III New England Rookie of the Week.

In a 2-0 week for the Leopards Robinson needed to make just eight saves total as she recorded the first two solo shutouts of her collegiate career. In a 1-0 win over Western Connecticut she turned aside five shots while finishing the week with a three-save performance in a 3-0 win at Salve Regina. Robinson has played in all of the team's 11 games, starting 10, and had a 0.48 goals against average and a 6-2-1 record. In addition to her two solo shutouts, she has been involved in five shared shutouts as the Leopards have blanked their opponents seven times in 11 games.

Standing at 8-2-1, Wentworth hosts UMass Boston in a non-conference game Tuesday night.
