BOSTON, Mass. – Senior forward Mykaela Scarpace (Marlborough, Conn.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's soccer team has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Scarpace earns the honor for games played from Sept. 19-25.
In a 1-0-1 week for the Leopards, Scarpace scored a pair of goals. Both of those goals came in a 2-2 tie against WPI. Scarpace scored her first goal at 57:06 to tie the game at 1-all and, just 47 seconds later, she gave her team a 2-1 lead.
Scarpace has played in all nine of Wentworth's games and had three goals and an assist for seven points. The 5-2-2 Leopards are in action tonight against Western Connecticut.
