Women's Indoor Track & Field Makes its Mark at the Yankee Small College Invitational
Leopards have their top finish in program history, finishing third, while also setting four program records

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology women's indoor track & field team had its best finish in its nearly two seasons of varsity existence as the Leopards placed third at the Yankee Small College Invitational.
The Leopards placed third, scoring 59 points, and in the process, set four program records.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Olivia Holley picked up a point with a sixth-place finish in the 60M dash, setting a program record with a time of 8.61. She followed that up with a fourth place (four points) finish in the 200M, finishing with a time of 29.26. Also in the 200M, Sydney Mercadante picked up a point for the Black & Gold with a sixth-place finish (30.01).
- In the 400M, Anabelle Mendez was sixth (one point), finishing with a time of 1:10.41, while Erin MacLean was second (eight points) in the 600M (1:51.12). Summer Daniels placed fifth (two points after completing the mile in a time of 6:04.17.
- The 4X400M relay tandem of MacLean, Daniels, Makayla Gasper, and Mendez finished second (4:54.33) to pick up eight points.
- Laci Santos set a program mark in the long jump with a top jump of 4.57M, which placed her third (six points). Tati Sicard was second (eight points) in the triple jump with a top jump of 9.39M.
- Wentworth went for second and third in the shot put, with Sasha Feron setting a program mark of 10.40M to earn eight points and Santos finishing third (six points) with a top throw of 10.15M.
- Sicard broke her own mark in the weight throw, with a top throw of 11.65M. This was good for a third-place finish.
