Chapman Repeats as CCC Rookie of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Jordan Chapman (Clearwater, Fla.) repeated as the Commonwealth Coast Conference women's volleyball rookie of the week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Chapman averaged 5.38 assists and 2.38 digs per set last week, leading the Leopards to two non-conference victories. In a resilient battle against Simmons University, Chapman shined with her second straight double-double with 22 assists alongside 10 digs over five sets. She had another double-digit performance in the assist column with 21 in a 3-0 sweep over Worcester State, and added nine digs in the victory. Chapman collectively dished out 43 assists and registered 19 digs in the two matches.

The Black & Gold return to action tomorrow evening for a con-conference match against Lasell University. The home-opener is set for 7:00 p.m. inside Tansey Gymnasium.
