Cambray Headlines Tri-Match Sweep with 1,000 Career Digs Milestone

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Lexie Cambray (Bedford, N.H.) highlighted two straight-set victories on Saturday afternoon, becoming the fifth player in Wentworth women's volleyball history to reach the 1,000 digs plateau. The Leopards defeated Salem State University and Northern Vermont-Johnson to boost their overall record to 13-4 with their seventh straight win.

 

Match One – Wentworth 3, Salem State 0 (25-20, 25-8, 25-15)

  • Neal, freshman Viviann Goulet and senior Morgan Whaley each posted career-high offensive numbers
  • Tague put up a career-best 12 digs to lead Wentworth's defense
  • Lavigne registered six service aces, including four-in-a-row in the final set, which ranks fourth all-time
  • Leopards had 14 aces as a team (fourth all-time)
  • WIT is now 4-1 all-time against Salem State
