Jackie Germain (nee Clark) was named the Head Athletic Trainer at Wentworth Institute of Technology on July 1, 2013 and was promoted to her current role of Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine and Performance on January 1, 2020. Now in her seventh season with the Leopards, she oversees all athletic training services, including the oversight of two athletic trainers and clinicial students and the department's strength & conditioning coordinator. She is also the NCAA's designated Athletics Health Care Administrator at Wentworth.

Prior to her arrival at Wentworth, Germain spent four years (2009-2013) at Southern Maine where she assisted in the coverage and care of student-athletes on 22 varsity teams, including serving as the athletic trainer for the field hockey, men’s ice hockey, and nationally ranked baseball teams. Additionally, she organized and conducted wrestling hydration testing and assisted the compliance office with the completion of medical hardship waiver forms. During her tenure at Southern Maine she was also an adjunct faculty member in the University’s Department of Exercise, Health, and Sport Sciences.

Germain spent two years in Florida while obtaining her Master’s degree in athletic training, which she received from the University of Florida in 2009. During the 2007-2008 academic year she was the Head Athletic Trainer at Columbia High School in Lake City and spent the following year working as an athletic trainer at Gainesville High School and was a teaching assistant at the University of Florida.

A 2007 graduate of Springfield College with a Bachelor’s degree in athletic training, Germain was a four-year member of the Pride’s swimming and diving team and helped the squad to four straight New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships.

Germain holds professional memberships with the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
