CNE Unveils All-40th Men’s Basketball Team

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England (CNE) is thrilled to announce its next All-40th Anniversary Team, releasing the All-40th Men’s Basketball team on Thursday afternoon. The list features 49 prominent names in the league’s history.
 
The minimum criteria for consideration was at least two First Team All-Conference selections or at least one Player of the Year honor, with selections coming with prioritization on former Player of the Year honorees and number of first team selections without a Player of the Year honor.

The 40th Anniversary campaign runs parallel to the league’s new naming and branding initiative that was launched in August. This celebration also serves as a platform to highlight the conference's achievements, honor its history, and generate enthusiasm for future endeavors.
 
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE OF NEW ENGLAND
Originally founded in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), and reconstituted as the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2024, the CNE is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 10 full member and five associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition and a meaningful student life. The Conference administers championships in 20 intercollegiate sports.
