BOSTON, Mass. – After helping the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team to a 2-1 start, junior attackman Kyle Doner (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Doner earns the honor for games played from February 25-March 3.
Doner scored 10 goals and assisted on 14 others for a 24-point week. He began the week with a four-goal, nine-assist performance in a 21-5 win over Anna Maria. He established a program record with his nine assists and his 13 points are the second-most in a single game in program history. He followed that up with four more goals and three assists in a 16-4 win over Emerson and closed out the week with two goals and two assists in an 11-10 loss to Oneonta. In total, Doner took 20 shots, putting 17 of them on target.
