BOSTON, Mass. – Junior Mike Sudora (Monroe, Conn.) found the back of the net six times to help pace the Endicott College men's lacrosse team to an 18-8 win over Wentworth Institute of Technology in Commonwealth Coast Conference action Saturday afternoon.
With the win the Gulls improve to 5-6 overall and 3-0 on CCC play while the Leopards slip to 5-9 overall and 2-3 against league foes.
Wentworth took an early lead on a goal from sophomore Ben Coakley (Flemington, N.J.), however, Endicott responded with a 9-0 run, keeping the hosts off the board for 18:40. During the run, junior Ben Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) had a pair of goals, while Sudora also tallied twice. Senior Jason Buck (Manlius, N.Y.) eded the run with a goal with 8:49 left and, after Sudora scored with 4:43 to play in the half, Buck tallied his second of the quarter with five ticks left to make it 10-3.
Buck opened the third quarter with a goal with 11:07 left, however, Endicott used a 7-0 run over a span of nearly 11 and a half minutes to extend its lead to 17-4 with 12:25 left. A man-up marker by Coakley highlighted a 4-1 spurt which also saw freshman Sam Prunier (Hollis, N.H.), Buck, and junior Kyle Doner (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) score.
Sudora was one of four Gulls to record multiple points in the game with Clark finishing right behind him with a three-goal, two-assist game. Senior Derek Yannone (Lynnfield, Mass.) won 14-of-18 at the X and picked up 11 ground balls.
Buck finished the game with a team-high four goals while Coakley added two. Senior Jake Berry (Beverly, Mass.) caused three turnovers.

Sophomore Randy Ryan (Clinton, N.J.) made 11 saves for the Black & Gold. Endicott had advantages in shots (51-28) and ground balls (50-38).
