Boston, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's indoor track team opened the 2019-20 season on Saturday afternoon at the Emmanuel Invite hosted at the Reggie Lewis Center.
Welcoming a handful of newcomers to the roster combined with a core group of veterans, the Leopards competed in a record number of events in the season debut, with their largest squad to date. Three athletes broke school records in the field, as freshman Jared Pierce set the new weight throw mark at 12.21m (40'.0.75") while Dre Colas and Dylan Kindberg broke the high jump record with a 1.80m (5'10.75") mark.
