Cross Country Wraps Up 2018 Campaign at NCAA DIII Regionals

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's cross country team wrapped up its 2018 season at the NCAA DIII Regional race hosted by Bowdoin College at Pickard Field on Saturday afternoon.

The Leopards finished 31st out of 58 teams, and were led by senior Joshua Gangemi (Norton, Mass.) with a 27:08.34 finish in his final cross country race in a Wentworth uniform. Junior Tom Caruso (Mahopac, N.Y.) clocked in next at 28:03.29, followed by sophomore Tyler Cosma (Center Moriches, N.Y.) at 28:15.63.

Sophomores Will Allen (West Hartford, Conn.) and Wes Brimeyer (Dubuque, Iowa) crossed the line next for the Leopards, rounding out team scoring with a 28:54.57 and a 28:58.06 finish, respectively.

While the Leopards wrap up the 2018 cross country season, Wentworth begins the 2018-2019 indoor track campaign next month.
