The Leopards took the Gators by storm in the first game, and broke the single-game scoring record at 24 runs overall. The record was previously set in 2014, when Wentworth downed Mass. Maritime 23-5.

Wentworth cracked 16 hits, including four multi-base performances from freshman Brionna Myers (Seabrook, N.H.), and seniors Rachel Willcutt (Tilton, N.H.), Vanessa Weymouth (Fremont, N.H.), and Megan Berryman (Middleboro, Mass.). Willcutt, who went 4-for-5 in the win, joined sophomore Deanna DiPilato (Worcester, Mass.) and Berryman with two runs batted in, while Weymouth drove one home as well.

Myers earned the win on the hill in game one, and pitched 4.0 innings with zero earned runs, one walk, and a season-high six strikeouts. Freshman Alex Kielty (Middleboro, Mass.) tossed 1.0 innings of relief.

GAME TWO – Wentworth: 14 Pine Manor: 1 (Five Innings)

Wentworth carried momentum at the plate into the nightcap, and recorded 19 hits with 12 runs batted in. With the result the Leopards surpass last season's hits and RBI totals, with 157 and 85, respectively. Berryman roped two doubles with two RBI's to lead the Wentworth offense, while Myers and DeMedeiros rounded out multi-base performances with a double apiece. Willcutt, DeMedeiros and sophomore Molly Biega (Old Lyme, Conn.) also drove two home in the win, followed by DiPilato, Weymouth, and Kielty with one.
