Endicott Defeats Women's Lacrosse on Senior Day

BOSTON, Mass. –  The Gulls of Endicott College flew past the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's lacrosse team, 21-3, on Saturday afternoon at Sweeney Field.

Endicott remains undefeated in conference play at 4-0 and improves to 8-4 overall. The Leopards drop to 1-4 against league opponents and 7-4 this season.

The Gulls opened the contest with an 11-0 run to start running clock until the final buzzer sounded. Morgan Pike (Shapleigh, Maine) and Ali Campbell (Lakerville, Mass.) led five Gulls in double-digit goals with a hat trick apiece. Endicott held a 16-9 advantage in draw controls, four of which were won by Maya Feighebaum (West Hartford, Conn.).

For the Leopards, senior Brooke Paradis (Pelham, N.H.), freshman Sarah Galan (Colchester, Conn.) and sophomore Emily Rogers (Pembroke, Mass.) each found the back of the net once in the effort. Sophomore Lily Kuhns (Gloucester, Mass.) suffered the loss in the cage for Wentworth despite 11 saves.

Prior to the league contest, the Wentworth women's lacrosse community honored its eight graduating seniors, Paradis, Caitlin McCormick (Hanson, Mass.), Madyson Reno (Superior, Colo.), Leah Cummins (Plymouth, Mass.), Jenna Tetreau (Dudley, Mass.), Elizabeth Gunning (Northport, N.Y.) Kayla Gendreau (Hudson, N.H.), Rachel Schaeffer (Lumberton, N.J.)  for their hard work and dedication to the women's lacrosse program.

Wentworth hosts Salem State on Wednesday for its next contest.
