BOSTON, Massachusetts – Dr. Amos J. St. Germain, who served for many years as Wentworth Institute of Technology's Faculty Athletic Representative, recently passed away at his home in Roswell, Ga. He was 74 years old.
Dr. St. Germain was a member of the faculty at Wentworth from 1986-2015, teaching in the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Management. As the Leopards' FAR during this time, he was a tireless advocate for the student-athletes and was often seen in the stands, cheering on the Black & Gold. His daughter, Adrienne, was a four-year member of the women's volleyball team who was a recipient of the Carl A. Swanson Senior Scholar-Athlete Award in 2000, while his sons, David and Matthew, both also graduated from Wentworth. Matthew was a member of the 1999 men's lacrosse team.
