LaBouliere and Marsh Take GNAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week Awards

BOSTON, Mass. – After three victories and helping the team get off to the best start in program history (8-0), sophomore Jacob LaBouliere (Pipersville, Pa.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team picked up Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Offensive Player of the Week honors, while graduate student David Marsh (Springfield, Mass.) earned the GNAC Defensive Player of the Week award.

LaBouliere had his best week of the season, finishing with 41 kills (13.67 kills per match), eight service aces, and averaged a .480 hitting percentage, while also adding 13 digs and seven blocks on the defensive side.

Marsh had a strong week as well, totaling 15 blocks for the three matches, while also adding one dig, 14 kills, a .621 average hitting percentage, and picked up one assist.

The Leopards' next match is Thursday, Feb. 10, when they take on GNAC opponent Rivier University at 7:00 p.m.
