BOSTON, Mass. – The Leopards of the Week awards for the week of Monday, Feb. 21 – Sunday, Feb. 27 have been awarded to senior Trey Carrier (Wilton, N.H.) of the men's basketball team, women's basketball freshman Gabby Amoddio (Wethersfield, Conn.), and track and field junior Kyle Moser (Southbury, Conn.).
Carrier played in two games for the Leopards, turning in his best performance of the season this week. In the first round of the CCC Tournament, the senior went for 45 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. He followed that up with a 20-point, seven rebound, four assist effort at No. 1 ranked Nichols College, averaging 32.5 points per game, 8.5 rebounds per game, and 3.5 assists.
Amoddio played once for Wentworth during the week, as the Leopards competed in the first round of the CCC Tournament at Nichols. She recorded a double-double in the playoff game, scoring 19 points, while pulling down 14 rebounds and adding two assists.
In the New England DIII Men's Championships, Moser finished in third place in the weight throw event, as he finished with a throw of 14.91 meters.
