Quintero, King Named Leopards of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior goalkeeper Louis Quintero (Boston, Mass.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's soccer team and freshman Annie King (Wakefield, Mass.) have earned Leopard of the Week honors for the week of September 5-11.

Quintero helped the men's soccer team to a 1-0-1 record by not allowing a goal in 180 minutes of action and notching 14 total saves, including a career-high eight in a 0-0 tie against Bridgewater State. He was named Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts.

For the second meet in a row, King was the first Leopard runner to cross the finish line as she completed the 5K Ron Ouellette Invitational in a time of 21:31.7, which was good for 12th place in the 71-runner field.
