BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomore Jenny Montville (Plainville, Mass.) of women's soccer and sophomore Ashley Cao (Morrisville, N.C.) of women's volleyball have been named Leopards of the Week for the week of October 17-23.
Montville and the women's soccer club finished the week 1-1 with a strong 3-2 win over Endicott, clinching themselves a spot in the Commonwealth Coast Conference playoffs. In the victory, Montville scored two goals on two shots in a span of 3:23, with the second serving as the eventual game-winner.
Cao and the women's volleyball team went 2-1 on the week as their two wins against Curry and Rhode Island College were 3-0 sweeps. Cao notched a career-high 13 kills in the Leopards' lone loss to Endicott. In the Leopards' two wins, she totaled eight and 12 kills, respectively, while also assisting 13 times in each of the contests.
